Believers Community

A place for fun and fellowship for all Message Believers.

It has been easy to discuss this with some people freely at times, but being that it is a great dedication to God that is personal to me between myself and God, and that I have thought that I should let not my right hand know what my left hand doeth, it has not been entirely easy to approach others with this topic.
Also, I know that this consecration of self to God is not for most people for Jesus said of this to His disciplessubject, "All cannot receive this saying, save those to whom it is given." Read Matthew 19:11-13. I believe this not only applies to a spiritual devotion to God, but to the physical operation for some. I brought this up because I desire to know where I can get this operation. Please help.

God's grace works in different ways to different people. Being a happily married, I am totally amazed at any one who has the grace and power to dedicate his life in such a way.

IMHO, I can see 3 ways on how men become eunuchs:
1./ those who are born eunuch
2./ when someone forces them to become a eunuch;
3./ when a person commits his life in such a way for sake of God's kingdom.

The first two means are practically outside of one's choice. But the third means is something very noble, and wonderful, for me.

I have a friend who lived in such a way before the Lord took him home. he did not actually desire to remain single all his life. But he kept himself so busy with kingdom work he always put off courting or even choosing a wife for himself. I never knew how he felt during those times, or whether he struggled with temptations. All I know now is that he lived a noble life for the glory of the Lord.

I would very much like to shake his hand in heaven and to hear how he made it!

Shalom.

Thank you for responding. Your words are encouraging, and yes, to each their proper gift. It is certainly not always easy to deny the natural inclination to desire a spouse, but I have got a lot of work ahead of me. I asked the Lord to restore time and His Word to me from roughly five straight years that I misspent in the world. I am learning to rest in Him and to let the works that I do for the Kingdom come second-naturally. It must be that I serve Him from a loving reverence rather than from a fear of judgment for the Perfect Love that we strive for as believers will cast out fear of God (I mean here fear of terror of judgment), fear of man, and fear of beast.

God bless you. Martin Luther,the 5th church age Messenger,was formerly a celibate monk but after he left the Catholic Church he rejected that and he married a former nun Katherine von Bora and had children with her. So it can be quite in God's will to have a wife and to have sexual relations with her. Also,the Apostle Peter had a wife according to scripture. Bro. Branham himself had not only one wife but two and had children by both.

With due respect, I humbly like to share my concern about your personal decision of the physical operation (are you refering the genital removal?) in order to "Becoming a Eunuch". When one is called to be a eunuch for the Kingdom's sake, then there is no need to do any physical operation. Calling and gifts of God is without repentance.

I am not totally sure whether or not God would desire or honor the commitment for me to physically become a eunuch. However, I do know that it would be easier to have less physical desires and that there is a certain calm that comes with having the process completed. There were eunuchs in the Bible who served the Lord so although it is not necessary for Salvation, I believe it could help one's walk with the Lord. We will all be as eunuchs in Heaven, after all, for we will be as the angels in Heaven. Maybe God wants me to marry. I do not know. Please keep this in prayer- not for or against the operation, but for God's will to be done.
