I dont think so. I am a filipina sister married to a white american brother. I do believe we are all equal in the sight of God. Does it make sense brother? If I am not mistaken, Moses wife is Eutheopian sister (correct me if I am wrong). Joseph married an Egyptian wife. Interracial marriages is more forbidden in culture rather than religion. Maybe our ministering brothers here can post their view and understanding about interracial marriages.

God bless you.
I personally dont have any problem with interracial marriage but i happened to meet some brethren here who had different views and they were quotin the prophet. Moses, joseph and abraham married wives from different race if am not wrong. Acts17:26 "And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth...."
The prophet is against interracial marriage, and i say Amen to that. I believe theres no compromise on the word of God and if you trust God fully then you will believe every word the prophet says. Its not about our opinion or what seems right in our eyes, the word of God prevails no matter how ridiculous it may seem.

God bless you all.
could u please tell me where does the prophet William Branham talks against interracial marriage ?
Its a subject that interests me very much but i still haven't found an answer to this in the message .
i would appreciate it very much if u give me the title of the message where u found about this.
Thank you
Hi Wilfred, I believe your pastor is brother Abonyo, and he can advise you on that, please talk to him if you still in dispute.

God bless
Is everything that was ever recorded in ALL the sermons preached by Bro William branham the "THE WORD OF GOD"?
I have always believed that the message is pointing us to the bible thus doctrines in the message must be scriptural.
I have never come across any scritural reason to forbid interracial marriage i would wish to know them if they exist.
WHICH SCRIPTURES IN THE BIBLE FORBID INTERRACIAL MARRIAGE ?
Hi bro Wilfred, I trust this will be of a little help. I do consider myself to be one of the least and maybe not fit to answer this type of question, therefor I have been lingering a bit until now.
Personally I have not found any direct scriptures that would satisfy your conscious (ofwhich there might be and the ministering brethren can help us), but I would rather like to refer to experiences I know of.
This has been a bit of a contraversial subject even in the country I live in.
Well I have come to find out that there are NATURAL differences in the different races i.e. cultural, habits, lifestyles, apitites ext. and these differences does at times have an effect on the natural relationship in a marriage. Frankly I know of numerous occasions even in the ranks of mine own family inwhich these marriages ended up in a divorce (regret to say that it happened in message ranks)
However I do not want to be as a judge on this issue. I am also a bit lenient on this as I know that God can allow something to be done to bring about His perfect will as in the scriptures that was mentioned but I do believe that if you are filled with the Holy Ghost, that Comforter will lead you into all truth.
I also believe that we had an anointed man of God in this day and age which could pick up the Mind of God and make it (The True Word) known to us; our dear bro Branham.
This question has been forwarded to one of the Branham family members about 6 years ago from someone I am personally acquainted with. Well; I was surpised when it was given me to read the response of the letter. And it came to my attention that tibal mariages is not necessarily considered interracial marriages i.e. the 12 tribes of Israel could marry within their tribal ranks but they were forbidden to intermarry any of the other nations.
In my country among the black people we find many different tribes i.e. Xhosas, Zulus, Sotho, Tswane and many others. Even amongst the white people Irish, German, Canadian ext. These would not necessary be considered interracial marriage.
However I do believe that God will make known to you HIS understanding ragarding this, and if still unsure; I think the best thing to do is to serve the Lord with all that is within you, love Him and your fellow man with all you've got and wait on God until you are confident on this and regarding any doctrinal issues I know bro Branham would have referred you to your spiritual leader in your assembly if you believe him to be a man of God. Anyway he should know the situation in you country much better.
P.S Just thought it could be of help.
God Bless you my precious brother.
Thanks Brother for your reply
There are more than 40 tribes in my country. There are as you said natural differences in those tribes too in terms of culture or tradition as just as they are in different races. I have heard of some believers discouraging marriages between some tribes because of cultural or traditions differrences. In the so called "black race" alone and in Africa there are hundreds of tribes with different cultures .It is true to say in the "black race" alone some marriages cannot last because of differences in culture. It is also true to say many divorces in the message have not occured as a result of differences in the race but rather other reasons.

Some believers also believe that marriages between a sister and a brother with different levels of education is wrong and cannot work.

To me all these are PERSONAL OPINIONs and not the WORD OF GOD.

Will a brother or a sister miss to go to rapture because because of interracial marriage or inter -ethnic marriage?

A CHRISTIAN has a tradition or a culture too. Which is not just a culture of a particular region or race or tribe or any class of people but of the WORD OF GOD.

Maybe that is too much reasoning.

It is true to say that we all came from Adam....Noah--three sons of Noah. We are not told in the bible when we started having different colors but we are told when we started speaking different languages.

I just wonder why we have to forbbid inter-racial marriages and still donate blood to one another . I wonder why we can speak one language yet God gave us several languages so that we may not agree.
If we really want to keep everything pure and to have different varieties....

Israel children were forbiddien from marrying from other nations just as we cannot marry from the world. But even in Israel there were people who came from other nations and ended up marrying israellittes after they had changed to follow jews laws. Moses,Joseph,Abraham married from different races. If you follow the geneology of Jesus Christ you find a difference race there.

During the time of the prophet they were laws in the US forbidding interracial marriages. Blacks and whites could not in some states even go to the same schools.
To me this was the prophets personal opinion. Anything that was the Word of God always had scriptures to support.
Until i get the scriptures that forbbid interracial marriages i would consider the quotes about interracial marriages as personal opinion for that time and for that condition in the US.
Brother , at what quotes are u refearing about interracial marriages in the message of the prophet ?
God bless you sister
I have attached the word documents that have some quotes and scriptures about interracial marriages that could be of help to us believers. I have highlighted in the word documents attached sections of the quotes that could be of interest.
God bless you all. May God help us.
I would advice that after reading this quotes that you read the whole message book too.

HYBRID RELIGION

CONDEMNATION.BY.REPRESENTATION_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-13 SUNDAY_ 60-1113

20-3 Hybreeding, hybreeding, oh, how terrible, hybreeding. They hybreed the people. You know it's a big molding pot.

I've got hundreds of precious colored friends that's borned again Christians. But on this line of segregations and things they're talking about, hybreeding the people. What, tell me what fine cultured, fine Christian colored woman would want her baby to be a mulatto by a white man? No, sir. It's not right. What white woman would want her baby to be a mulatto by a colored man? God made us what we are. Let's stay what God made us; I believe it's right.

CONDEMNATION.BY.REPRESENTATION_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-13 SUNDAY_ 60-1113

20-5 When that great fuss come up down there at Shreveport here not long ago, that old colored preacher stood out there; he's got a place in my heart. He said, "I never was ashamed because I'm a colored man." Said, "God made me what I am, and I'm proud of it." But said, "Today I'm ashamed the way you people are acting. The way my own people's acting, it makes me ashamed."

Oh, my. What are we doing, friends? Men think they know all about it.

The people would be better off if you'd just let them the way they are, the way God made them. Let the brown race marry the brown race, the white race marry the white race, the dark race, the yellow race and whatevermore, stay the way God made them. If a violet... God made it and it was white, let it remain white. If it's blue, black, brown, whatever the flower is, let it alone. If corn was raised a certain way, yellow corn, don't mix with white corn. If you do, you mix it up, then it can't breed itself back again.

CONDEMNATION.BY.REPRESENTATION_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-13 SUNDAY_ 60-1113

21-3 If a mule was--or a jack was a jack and jenny to begin with, let them stay that way. Don't mix them with horses. You make a renegade. Hybrid, oh it's such a curse. Go back to where God started. Let's go back to the beginning. Go back to where God brought us what we're supposed to be.

I say this with respects. I say this with honor. I'm going to Africa. But you know what? To my precious colored brethren and sisters, one of the greatest mistakes this nation made, it made it on November 11, this year. That's was its great fatal mistake.

CONDEMNATION.BY.REPRESENTATION_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-13 SUNDAY_ 60-1113

21-5 One of the greatest mistakes that the colored race ever made was down in Louisiana and over in there when they voted for Kennedy the other night, and put him in. They actually spit on that dress of Abraham Lincoln where the blood of the Republican Party that freed them; and voted a Catholic--which Booth shot Lincoln and he died for the race of people to free them and make them not slaves, and then turn around and vote for a Democrat and a Catholic besides. They brought one of the greatest disgraces they ever brought. Because why? The white man with his scholarship has give them a lot of ballyhoo. That's exactly right.

I'm so glad there's many of them knows where they--where they stand. Be the same as me spitting on Christ that healed me, and saved me from being a sinner, and turn against Him for something else; turn my back upon Him and walk away.

CONDEMNATION.BY.REPRESENTATION_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-13 SUNDAY_ 60-1113

21-7 Oh, this interbreeding. Oh, how, how can the world go on much longer? No wonder the vision of the Lord says here that I seen it finally come to a spot where she's just one big smoldering heap. She was blowed up. We're on the road out, friends. There's no way to--no way... There's no way around it. We've got to come to it; face it. Hybreeding...

Say, "I'm not responsible because Eve did that." Eve did do it. She represented us all. Adam represented us yonder as sinners, and we are sinners. He represented our fallen human nature to take us away from the Word of God, hybreeding it.

"Oh, I know God has said, but surely God understands that I'm Presbyterian." "I'm Methodist." "I'm Pentecostal, God understands that."

God understands one thing; that's the Blood. That's all He understands. He knows the Blood. He knows no color lines. He knows no race lines. Whether a man's black, blue, white, brown, or whatever color he is, God knows nothing about that. They're sons and daughters. He made them as His flower garden. He likes to look at them the way they are. Leave them be that way.

CONDEMNATION.BY.REPRESENTATION_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-13 SUNDAY_ 60-1113

22-3 Eve started this evil thing when she interbred there with this other thing that was near a man, that would mix the seed; 'cause the serpent had a seed that was continuely to bruise. I'm taking on the faith side for the weak Christians that don't understand.

Let's take the faith there. Say, "then by faith, by the breeding then of faith, as you say, Brother Branham..." Then Eve brought in her theology her and Adam, and tried to plead one to the other and throwed it back... "Passing the buck," as they call it in the army...

"The woman thou gives me..."

"The serpent beguiled me."

"The serpent beguiled me." He never give her a apple to beguile. See? Anyone ought to have common reasonings to know that.

381-3 RESUME.OF.THE.AGES - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.10

Not for one moment do I bring a message to the people that they may follow me, or join my church, or start some fellowship and organization. I have never done that and will not do that now. I have no interest in those things, but I do have an interest in the things of God and people, and if I can accomplish just one thing I will be satisfied. That one thing is to see established a true spiritual relationship between God and men, wherein men become new creations in Christ, filled with His Spirit and live according to His Word. I would invite, plead and warn all to hear His voice at this time, and yield your lives completely to Him, even as I trust in my heart that I have given my all to Him. God bless you, and may His coming rejoice your heart.

MARRIAGE.AND.DIVORCE_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-13 SUNDAY_ 65-0221M

10-1 Now, God help us. This Scripture, this question, confronted Jesus at the very beginning of His ministry, and it confronted Moses at the very beginning of his ministry. It's a foremost question in believers' hearts. The sinner doesn't care. But it's to believers, because the believer is trying to do all that he knows how to do to live right before God. Therefore, if any question comes up on religion, then the marriage and divorce case comes up. Why? Because it is the cause of the original sin. That's where sin started, and that's the reason it's brought up every time, because it is the very beginning of sin.

MARRIAGE.AND.DIVORCE_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-13 SUNDAY_ 65-0221M

11-1 It's the original sin and that's the reason it's--it's question. When any great phenomena comes from God, about the first thing: "What about marriage and divorce?" Now, as ever, it still is a question amongst the people, as it was in the times of Jesus, as it was in the times of Moses; it's always been and is to this day a question among the people, because the people want to know what's the truth. But where there is a question, there must also be an answer. And now, being an answer, as I have said before this week, there must be a correct answer. And if we get a answer to anything and it's a--it isn't right, then we know that it was wrong. But there's... We still ask until the true question is answered, if you want to know truth. And being this is a Bible question, it should be a Bible answer.

SERPENT'S.SEED_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-4 SUNDAY_ 58-0928E

38-4 If a dreamer said, "I dreamed a dream, and this dream said that Israel should move and go to a certain place 'cause the Syrians are going to come in on this side and besiege it," they would take that dreamer down there, he told his dream. If them lights didn't flicker across there, he was wrong no matter how... If the Syrians was already setting in battle yonder, he was wrong. No, sir, they absolutely--it had to be proved by the Urim Thummim.

Now, everybody knows that the old priesthood was gone a--done away with, and the Urim Thummim went with it. We know that, don't we? And the new priesthood was come in. And what do we have a Urim Thummim today? Yes, sir. God's Word. Yes, sir, this is it. If any man has any kind of a revelation, or speaks anything, or any doctrine that's not according and co--and coping with this Bible throughout the entire Scripture, he's wrong.

I don't care what denomination he is. How good he is, how smart he is, how educated he is, he's wrong.

IS.THIS.THE.SIGN.OF.THE.END.SIR_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-11 SUNDAY_ 62-1230E

30-5 Now, let's note a few of these mysteries. And if you want to, write them down. First, I'll take what Scofield says here in Matthew 13. If you would like to--to type some of them down... If you haven't got a Scofield Bible, you might read what he thinks some of the mysteries are.

Now, in the 11th verse:

He answered and said unto them, Because it's given to you... (his disciples)... Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but not to them... but to them it is not given. (The mysteries)

Here's the mystery: A "mystery" is Scripture--is "a previously hidden truth, now Divinely revealed, but which is a supernatural element still remains despite the revelation." The greater mysteries and the great mysteries are:

A LIST OF INTERRACIAL MARRIAGES RECORDED IN THE BIBLE

1. Gen. 16:3-4. Abraham conceives Ishmael through Hagar (Egyptian).

2. Gen. 38. Judah takes a Canaanite wife.

3. GENESIS 41:50 And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine

came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him

3. Ex. 2:21 Moses marries Zipporah (Midianite).

4. Num. 31. Hebrews allowed to retain Midianite virgins (for wives of course) after attacking and slaughtering the Midianites.

5. Dt 21:10-14. Hebrews permitted to marry virgin captives (of any lineage) from any future conquests outside Canaan.

6. Jud. 14. A Philistine betrothed to Samson.

7. Ruth. Ruth (Moabite) married to Boaz.

8. 2 Sam. 3:3. Maacah (Geshurite, one of the unconquered peoples east of the Jordan) mother of Absalom, wife of David.

9. 2 Sam. 11. Uriah (Hittite) husband of Bathsheba (or if ltathsheba was not Hebrew then her marriage to David was interracial).

10. 1 Ki. 3:1. Solomon married to Pharaoh's daughter (Egyptian).

11. 1 Ki. 11:1-3. Solomon had many foreign wives and concubines.

12. 1 Chr, 2:34. In the lineage of Judah, Sheshan's daughter given in marriage to his Egyptian servant.

13. 1 Chr. 4:18. In the lineage of Judah, Mered married to Pharaoh's daughter (Egyptian).

14. 2 Chr. 12:13. Rehoboam's mother, wife of Solomon, an Ammonite.

15. 2 Chr. 24:25-26. Zabad and Jehozabad, conspirators against Joash for his murder of

the prophet Zechariah, sons of an Ammonite woman and a Moabite woman respectively (the inference being that the fathers were
Hebrew).

16. Esther. Esther married to Ahasuerus (Persian).

17. Mt 1~5. In genealogy of Christ, Rahab (Canaanite) married to Salmon.

18. Acts 161. Timothy the son of a Hebrew mother and a Greek father.

19. Acts 24:24. Felix, a Roman official, married 10 Drusilla.

Matthew 1:5 reads:

And Salmon begat Booz (Boaz) of Rachab (Rahab); and Booz begat Obed of Ruth.

Rahab was a Canaanite "under the ban," due to be annihilated with all the residents of Jericho. Because of her righteousness she was kept alive. Matthew 1:5 shows her to have married into the Hebrew line. Later, Ruth, a Moabite, married Boaz, himself an offspring of the interracial marriage between Rahab and her Hebrew husband.

Matthew 1:5 reads:

And Salmon begat Booz (Boaz) of Rachab (Rahab); and Booz begat Obed of Ruth.

Assuming no gaps in this part of the genealogy of Christ, Boaz would have been genetically one-half Hebrew and one-half Canaanite. Obed, then, would have been one-fourth Hebrew, one-fourth Canaanite, and one-half Moabite, yet by patrilineal reckoning wholly Hebrew.
