What was Lucifer's first (original) sin? What did he actually do?

Brothers,

We knew that Lucifer committed a grave sin against the Almighty God by way of the intensity of the punishment he received. But what did he actually do to merit such horrible judgment from God?

You may answer that Lucifer's sin is "pride". Well, we all knew that. However, what did he do to manifest/exhibit that "pride" in him?

For instance, denominational Christians would be quick to say that the sin of Adam & Eve was disobedience to the Word of God. We know that they are right. Indeed, Adam & Eve sinned because they disobeyed God. But we know more than that. Those denominational Christians are still in the dark as to what really happened in the Garden of Eden that most of them believe that it was all about eating of the forbidden fruit of a literal tree. On the other hand, we in the 'message' are fortunate enough to know that the sin of Adam & Eve was fornication (sexual act/s). Thus, the word "disobedience" is a general term that would even apply to the wrong notion of eating of the fruit of a literal tree!.

In like manner, saying that Lucifer's sin is "pride" would be a broad statement. I am seeking some insights from you brethren based on the Scriptures or "message sermons" on the specifics of what Lucifer had done.

Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus. The prophet tells us he wanted to built a beter kingdom then Michael, and the Bible confirms it.
ISAIAH 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

There is a terrible warning in there for us today. We have seen the Angel of the Lord [Michael] above the prophet's head. He brought a message, restoring the Kingdom of God. When the prophet made a mistake, He corrected the prophet, and thus we have a perfect message. What ever mistakes the prophet had in earlier messages were later corrected. Thus we must eat the whole Book out of the Angel's hand as Rev 10 commanded John, a type of the bride. To proclaim a better revelation then what has been given, could be considered the same kind of pride. Denominations has done this as they claim to know better then Michael [Pillar of Fire], and today they are building upon revelations totally contrary to what Michael has given. They have built their churches above the Word, and that is really the worst kind of pride. We know what the end thereof will be. God will spue them out of His mouth, [Rev.3] they that say they are His mouth pieces. So I believe the sin of Lucifer is very alive.

This is the first time I heard about Lucifer "building a better kingdom than Michael" in Bro. Branham sermons. I may have read it before but didn't notice it. Thank you very much for posting this information.

Does this mean, then, that before he sinned Lucifer's kingdom and glory is inferior to that of Michael? I need more information on this. I thought Lucifer is the "brightest" of all the stars (angels) before his fall.

On the other hand, was it Michael who was above Bro. Branham's head? I thought it was Gabriel. How about the Pillar of Fire? Was it Michael also?

This is where I need your help brother. Please post more info on this subject.

There are three great Angels mentioned in the Bible. The most powerful of those 3 is Michael. When God appears as the Pillar of Fire, there is a dark skinned olive colored Angel the prophet says, that comes out of that Light and He is called Michael. It is nothing else then God-appearing as an Angel -THE ANGEL OF THE LORD.

Pillar of Fire = God=Michael=the Anointing of Jesus Christ.
It is God enmorphe, changing His mask, appearing as the mightiest warrior Angel of heaven. God goes to the battle field as Michael. Michael is Christ. Here are two quotes:

Jesus is the Messiah-meaning the Anointed One. He is called Christ, which Christ is Michael-the Anointing. When Jesus was here you would not have seen a Pillar of Fire above Him. Why? IT WAS IN HIM. He is The Light of this world.

Gabriel

The prophet says Gabriel is a Jewish Angel, one of two other most important Angels who stands with the Lord of the whole earth. [Book of Daniel]

28 Now, while in studying the Scriptures, he seen that the seventy years was run out, so him being there sixty-eight years left two years in the future until God would restore His people back to their homeland.
While in prayer we find out that there was a mighty Angel came from heaven. Can anybody call his name? [Congregation replies, "Gabriel."--Ed.] Gabriel. And he is the Angel to the Jewish church. How many knows that? Everywhere it's Gabriel. Gabriel is the messenger to the--the Jewish church, came to Mary; he came to Zacharias. Always it's Gabriel. And he's one of the great Angels of heaven."

Thus you won't find Gabriel coming to gentiles. It's highly unlikely. He would anoint a man to the Jews like Moses , or come to a Jewish man like Daniel was.

The other most important Angel is Wormwood mentioned in [Rev.8], the Angel of the waters. This one I believe is your Elijah anointing. When your 7 trumpets broke forth in the 7th church age, it released Wormwood under the 3rd trumpet. We know from the Feast of the trumpets that the trumpets did some work under men like Hitler. I say some because those trumpets had not yet finished their devastation work. And right during the Hitler time Mal.4:5 also ran out. What was it? Trumpets released Wormwood another of the most important Angels of heaven. Wormwood began some calling out work. He will later bring judgment under Rev.11, but during the gentile time he just called out a bride. He is the Angel of the waters. Kind of like Elijah who controlled the waters and had rain come when he wanted to and shut the heavens when he wanted to. With this kind of power Wormwood could cause immense devastation, and he will call a 3 and a half year drought during the tribulation over the whole earth. Rev.11 says no rain will fall then.

Angels anoint men. Those tongues of fire coming down on Pentecost was nothing else then Angels coming to anoint the church. Someday they will fly us out of this world on Angels wings. The Pillar of Fire is an Angel-Christ or Michael-the Anointing of Jesus Christ.

The seven messengers or stars of the 7 church ages for instance were anointed each by 7 mighty special Angels. I quote:

Thus in your seventh church age you had a 7th star-which was Brother Branham-but also a 7th Spirit [heavenly Angel] that came to the star to anoint him. And under your trumpets a mighty heavenly Angel was released-Wormwood. I believe he is that 7th Spirit that anointed the 7th star-One of two great Angels that is allowed to stand with the Lord of the earth. An Angel with power over the waters to shut the heavens if he wanted to. Elijah did that. He prayed and it rained not, then again he prayed and heavens opened after a 3 year drought.

When Moses made the ark, he had to scalp two Angels on the lid of the Ark. Thus you have Christ+ his two most important Angels. Allowed in the most Holy place were Christ [in the Ark] plus two other Angel on the lid.

Just as you have in flesh Jesus Christ, alias Michael when appearing as the Pillar of Fire + Moses and Elijah. The Angels is the Anointing which comes upon these mighty earthly vessels.

The Angel is a Spirit and the Angel is Holy = The Holy Spirit in an Angelic vessel. Then coming down to anoint an earthly vessel or star. And in this day we saw Michael Christ as an Angel + the anointing of Wormwood on the prophet. Have you seen brother Branham would preach a message, and then finish out-and then say he is waiting on Him? He was waiting for Michael or Christ the Pillar of Fire to come into the meetings hangs over the people and tell the people who they are.
There was God [Pillar of Fire or Michael] and his prophet. Two of the mightiest Angels of heaven visited us. Elijah and God Himself:

That Light that you see in the picture. Where you at, George? That Light that was in the picture, is hanging right over the woman, right now. See, it's another dimension. She is a believer, not a make-believer. She's a believer.

Brother Branham was very careful to always give God the glory. Lucifer back before his sin, was as close to God as brother Branham or Moses, before he was kicked out. He had such a position before he messed it up and tried to take the place of God. Now think about this. If we had the power like brother Branham had, people could easily start to worship you, like they tried to worship brother Branham. With that power, brother Branham could have started his own religion with him as the god of it. And then you have to make a choice-will I accept it, or reject it?

Brother Branham did one important thing! HE REJECTED THEIR WORSHIP! When Lucifer had such a position and power till the other Angels wanted to fall down and worship him, he ACCEPTED THAT WORSHIP, and then God kicked him out! The same thing that happened to brother Branham, happened to Lucifer. He had received immense power, and the Angels wanted to worship him, and built another kingdom above that of God.He became anti-Christ taking the very glory and honor of God when he was a mere creation not the creator. Angels bowed to him, and he made his abode above the stars of God. This is the stuff the pope is doing. But then God took His Holy Spirit from Lucifer-stripped him of his power and cast him and his followers from the Holy mount of God as a profane unclean demon. Ez.28 tells us Lucifer was perfect in his ways, an anointed cherub, until iniquity was found in him.

Hi, brother.

I would like to admit that my knowledge of what angels are, especially those archangels, is very limited. All I am familiar with is that in the scriptures angels are ministering spirits. I am also aware of the angel (archangel?) Gabriel, who appeared to Daniel, Zacharias, and Mary.

Your understanding of who Michael is somewhat confuses me. I am not saying you are wrong. I think I need more explanations from you to clarify some of your points. For instance, are you saying that Michael is the LOGOS in John 1:1? While I have no problem understanding that angels represent God and that they are called christ or anointed, saying that Michael is the LOGOS is a different thing. I know that the Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Michael and Jesus is one and the same. However, I am not aware if Bro. Branham believe like the JW's.

Frankly, all my life I assume that when God wanted to show or reveal something to man, He send Gabriel. I associate Gabriel with revelations of deep mysteries. On the other hand, I always assume that when it comes to war and combat, God sends Michael. Michael, according to what I thought, is God's Chief of Angelic Arm Forces, and Gabriel is the Chief of angelic Ministry of Education, so to speak.:) It is because whenever Michael is mentioned in the Bible, it is always in relation to war or conflict while Gabriel's appearance is always connected with the revelation of deep mysteries. I am not saying that my assumption is the correct one, I just want you to know that your understanding is very new to me and, to be honest, hard to digest at least for the meantime. Christ is the anointing of Jesus thus He is called Jesus Christ. Jesus reffering to the flesh, Christ reffering to His Anointing. No one else can be called Christ-which would reffer to THE ANOINTED. Michael is THE ANOINTING -OR HOLY GHOST FULNESS OF JESUS.
We are called Christians-because we bare an anointing after Christ-a part of Him, but not the fullness.
You are a Christian when you have received a part of Christ-the Holy Ghost, which is a minor anointing coming from Christ.

Brother Branham says The Pillar of Fire-Christ, divided Himself upon the 120 in the upperroom bringing to the believers tongues of Fire. Just little bits of Himself. "A.PARADOX_ TAMPA.FL SATURDAY_ 64-0418B

In Dan.12 Michael will stand for the Jews it says. Christ- THE very Logos or Michael BIG PILLAR OF FIRE will stand for them, even as He stood for us. Michael is God in Angelic form-just changing His mask.
When I study I look at what the prophet said first, because unto him came the Word. Then I look at what the Bible said also so I can defend it not only by quotes but from the Bible also. You know not everybody believes brother Branham. Thus I have these two witnesses in every statement then and know its right then.

I gave you 3 quotes yesterday about Michael being Christ and Christ being the Pillar of Fire or Logos. It would only be fair to look at it also in the Scripture.

Right from Genesis, the Logos is called THE ANGEL OF THE LORD. Why? Because it is an Angel.
And the Logos is the same as the Pillar of Fire which = CHRIST which =Michael.
The prophet said:
" Moses did nothing. It was the Angel of God. Is that right? What did It look like that led Israel? A Pillar of Fire by night, and a Cloud by day. I believe He's still leading on. We know that was the Angel of the covenant. Is that right? It was the Logos or the Christ. He's still the same, leading the people today as He was then.

Now when the Logos-Halo or Pillar of Fire appeared unto Moses the Bible called it-THE ANGEL OF THE LORD. Here we now see a picture of that Angel as it appeared as a Pillar of Fire.

" EXODUS 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush:.."

If the Logos is an Angel-then which Angel is it? The Bible single's Michael out as the mightiest Angel in heaven. " REVELATION 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels"

He is THE COMMANDER of the Angels-THE ANGEL OF THE LORD not a Angel of the Lord.
In Dan.12:1 Micheal is called the great prince. Who then is the Prince of peace?

We must understand our composition. We are humans with souls when we are born. And then there comes all sorts of demons upon us to teach us all manner of sins. You start to curse, you get a demon, smoke, another one and on and on. We can become so demon possessed that the man of Gaddarra had 2000 demons. Every time he did a wrong act, another wrong demon possessed him. Every addition is just another one coming in.

Jesus chased 7 demons out of a sister.
" So she had seven devils cast out of her: pride and envy, and she thought she was so pretty and there was no one like her. But when Jesus spoke and said, "Be thou clean," all that left her. She become a new person. She wasn't so pretty any more in her own sight. But she wrapped herself in the robe of meekness and gentleness, and followed the Master. She loved Him. So demons are fallen Angels coming down here to possess us. You see some people becomes so cruel that they are the very representation of Satan. What is the Holy Ghost then? A Holy Angel coming upon you to give you power over sin. Michael gives you one of His Angels to overcome the enemy once you've accepted Jesus! What you call the Holy Ghost is a Holy Angel overcoming Lucifer like He did it up there!

The Bible says an Angel strengthened Jesus in Gethsemane. Which one was it? THE MIGHTIEST THERE IS! MICHAEL! THE LOGOS-the Angel of the Lord.

This same Angelic anointing left Him when He bore our sin-thus He cried out! " My God My God why hast thou forsaken me!" Christ-The Holy Spirit power of Jesus now left because Jesus carried my sins. The Holy Spirit will always do that when we sin. He will fly away and wait for us to make right. And Jesus was now our sin bearer. God-Holy Spirit, separated from His flesh body. Abraham typed this when he parted the sacrifice. And when Jesus gave up the ghost-His soul left His body of flesh. Now He was parted even more.

"Look. Coming down, condescending, the Son of God said, "Into Thy hands I commend My Spirit," gave up the Ghost. And the Bible said He went and preached to the souls that were in prison. Amen. What is it? These fellows here, where that Miss Pepper broke into, the souls that were in prison, that repented not in the long suffering of the, God in the days of Noah, when the ark was being prepared. The soul now left the flesh and went and preached to these other souls who had also gave up the ghost before. PSALM 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. God was not going to leave Jesus soul in hell, neighther was God going to allow His soul to stay away so long that His Holy body would corrupt. We know corruption sets in after 72 hours, thus God had to bring back the soul into the flesh within 72 hour. Coming back up on Easter morning these things united again. Soul back into flesh, and Holy Ghost Angelic [Michael] anointing back into Jesus. You are also made up like that when you are born again. Devils cast out, and Holy Spirit took up residence. Now you have power. When your soul speaks the Word-That Angelic anointing carries it out. The Angel in another dimension does what you've said, if it was the Word of God.

Jesus would say a word, and Michael-His power, would do it. He would operate on a blind person for instance in a few seconds, built up cells, cut out cataracts and set right what the demons has broken down.

Remember how the Angel of the Lord visited a few sisters weeks after they received " Thus saith the Lord" as He passed through the neighborhood? That is what the Holy Ghost does. He performs what you speak from your soul-if it's the Word. So we must get the Word in there in order to have power or rather authority. Joshua spoke, and the Holy Ghost kept the sun from going down.

And this is the race between God and Satan. Both wishes to inhabit the human beings soul, and put their words in there.
When we see the Pillar of Fire, we see THE COMMANDER-The all powerful. Out of that Pillar of Fire comes an Angel. Brother Billy Paul saw Him. That's when God becomes Michael, taking up yet another role to defeat Satan. And He appeared unto the prophet:

" Then I heard something coming like this, going... [Brother Branham knocks on the podium four times.--Ed.] walking. And I looked, and the Light got greater. And just above me hung a great Star. And the Light was kind of a, more of a green, between green and yellow, shining on the floor. Jesus is flesh-Michael is in another dimension-THE HOLY SPIRIT, making Jesus THE MESSIAH-meaning the Anointed One. We are Messiahettes or little clinkers of Light that rotated from Him, like the stars rotated from the sun.

Sorry for the late reply. My computer broke down, that's why. Thanks for your posts, though.

Since our discussion and conversation here, I have been studying the subject of angels, especially the archangels. Some of what you said was very new to me.

My study is not yet finish and is far from over. In the course of my study, however, I found out that not only the Jehovah's Witnesses who have the belief that Michael is Jesus. The Seventh Day Adventists seem to have the same belief too.

Moreover, from the looks of it, it seems that Michael is the archangel assigned to Israel which is contrary to what you told me. Well, do not take this statement of mine seriously yet. I have to finish my study first then post here again.

Bro Arthur Vass, let me add this. Michael cannot be Jesus. Jesus is a man, Michael is an angel. Now, the Logos is the word or the thought (spirit - invisible God) expressed as word. The pillar of fire is the form that the logos took in order to be visible. He is the one we call the mighty angel who again took on a shape of the body of man called the theophany. The pillar of fire is not the theophany but both bodies are refered to by the prophet as word bodies. Let me illustrate to prove they are different. you see when you receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost there is a baptism of fire that you receive like at pentecost "cloven tongues of fire descended upon them." That's the pillar of fire, the angel of God who comes to abide in you when you receive the Holy Ghost. But you still do not have your theophany because if you did you would change from corruptible to incorruptible and be carried up to glory. The baptism of the Holy Ghost is a temperal gift (the earnest of our inheritence) but the theophany is the full stature of the likeness of the invisible God. Yet again none of the two are God.

The theophany is often hidden or covered by the pillar of fire as in the burning bush but sometimes also in a cloud as on Sunset Mountain or smoke or human body. Jesus is the body in which the invisible God in form of the pillar of fire dwells or hides. So in short the invisible God, thought or spirit was expressed as the logos, the logos Word dwells in the light called the pillar of fire, the pillar of fire is the shekinah glory (glory of God) which hides the theophany - body of God, and Jesus is the human body that hides the covered theophany. In the quote below, we find that after Moses had met the pillar of fire (The Word came to Moses in the form of a Pillar of Fire in a burning bush, the I AM) he wanted to see God who showed him his back, that was the theophany that had been talking to him from the midst of the burning bush.

It was the three "I Will" in Isaaih 14:13,, and not "Thy Will" which caused Lucifer to failed his own faithfulness test.
The Son of Man, Jesus Christ came and passed His ordained faithfulness test by praying Father let "Thy Will be done" , so likewise all God's children will do well by praying the same {Father, let Thy will be done ...."} It's no longer me that living , but Christ who is living in me.

Since then, Lucifer, now Satan, will only temp God's children to do things, yes, even the scriptiral things of God but not in the time God appointed. God's righteousness also deal with the ordained time.

The Book in Revelation10 which the bride told to eat is the ever "present truth" which Lord Jesus Christ revealed to His bride elements via His ordained ministries-5 fold ministers, throughout each respective church ages. Even now the "present truth" is marching on, the present truth will mature the faith of the living Bride elements while awaiting for her translation ministry.

Amen, brother! I did not explained this point in my previous post but I believe that 'sexual reproduction' of offspring is in line with God's perfect will even before the fall. Only it should be done in the ordained time. I am not one of those who believe that Adam could just speak a word or two to implant his seed in Eve's womb, or those who believe that Adam would have just speak to the dust to produce offspring. I am definitely not one of them! :)

When I said 'fornication' it is inclusive of spiritual fornication too.

When it comes to the sexual union of serpent and Eve, there's no right time of doing that. It was just plainly wrong because it violated God's laws, i.e. producing offspring "after its (their) own kind"! Thus, I may say that the original sin clearly involves improper 'sexual acts', be it of the 1.) Serpent & Eve, or 2.) Adam & Eve (in this case, it was a wrong timing). This was what I mean in my previous post.

Thank you brother. This is a revelation to me. I realized that even though I have the correct opinions and even doctrines, I still have to pray for the right time to share it. Otherwise, I will be dead wrong!
