I've been so busy with work that I was not able to write anything for a couple of months already. But now my heart is filled with overflowing gratefulness to God that I can't help but to set aside a time now to just express my gratitude towards Him who saved me.
The years are flying so fast but I am grateful that my love for Jesus has grown sweeter through the years. It's not because of my strength, or because of anything that I am able to do, but because of His sustaining grace.
I am thankful…

I haven't been able to write for a quite a long time now. I've been too busy with work, family and the ministry and did not have the time to express my thoughts in writing, but now my schedule has permitted me some time to think about life and how we affect our community as a Christian.
I have always believed that we should always be a blessing! We have received so much from God and His amazing grace has totally changed our lives and we are living a life that is far from sin. The fact that we'v…

What does your future hold? What does your tomorrow look? These are just some questions that anyone of us encounters in our lives. And yes there are many uncertainties in life and so many questions that we would like to find the answers but alas! Tomorrow is not for us to grasp.
The bible tells us that the Lord provides for the little birds and dresses the lilies of the valley that even King Solomon in all his majestic splendor couldn't match its glory. And yet we still ask the question what do…

Sometime in our life we all felt and experience the power of God's love. We were consumed by His divine love and all we know is that we believe Him and accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Yet somehow as we go on along with our journey the path we choose take us to broken roads and we forget the love of God and choose to ignore His will in our life.
I was just reading up some testimonies of Bro. Branham's ministry. It amazes me that even though these witnesses have seen so many wonderful and amaz…

I am crying as I'm writing this post. I have just seen the video title "the bridge" and it overwhelms my heart to know that a Father has sacrificed his son's life to save the lives of all that was boarded on the train. They did not know, they were not aware that the father's son was crushed under the bridge. The father had to make a choice - pull the lever or let everyone die on the train and what a choice he has made! Oh! what a choice he has made.
We go on about our life an…

I no longer have the time to cook my husband's favorite dishes, or look after the tiny details of my family's need - I'm running way too fast and I have got to stop! I feel the pressure of wanting for more time, when it seems that 24 hours a day is no longer enough to do everything. To squeeze in everything and be able to manage family, work and my time with the Lord.
I sometimes tell myself to stop! because I'm getting too busy, I'm running my life too fast. I sometimes forget how beautiful it…

There is a song that I love entitled "Mercy Said No" it talks about God's love and how His mercy would never let us slipped out of his hands and how we should no longer be afraid. It's a message of great assurance that no matter what happens, the love of God and what he did on the cross will keep us safe, and that one great day we will be with Him in eternity.
The phrase "when sin demanded justice for my soul, mercy said no" struck me so completely that I have cried uncontrollably in my seat. I…

Last night we started the bible study in Antipolo chapter, and we are the host. I am glad to be able to host the service since I always believe that there is a blessing when the word of God is shared. Surprisingly there were a lot more attendees than I have anticipated; our front yard was almost full.My husband, who is also the pastor of our church discussed the importance of evangelism and that our zeal for showing God’s love to the lost should not diminish in time. He reminded us of our own ex…

I met my husband at a time in my life when I badly needed a friend. I was going through a family crisis and and I felt very alone. From there it was history. A very good and lovely history of my life.
Through the years my husband has been the person I have known him to be and more. He helped me become a better person, more sure of myself. He loves me unconditionally, through many ups and downs we’ve had; I’ve never heard him say-he regretted the choice he’s made.
He’s strong in character. Stro…

Where there is love there is peace,
and quietness of spirit.
Where there is love there is forgiveness,
reconciliation and healing.
Where there is love there is beauty all around
and inspiration that flows in the heart.
Where there is love there is hope,
to aspire for better tomorrows.
Where there is love there is courage,
to fight and win the battles together.
Where there is love there is tenderness,
in every touch, in every word spoken.
Where there is love there is kindness,
that turns ev…

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember this story about a mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee...
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up…

I am grateful for every new beginning the Lord is giving us. When I wake up in the morning I feel like I've been given a chance to do things better and try harder.
The time of our trials is almost over. We've been tested on all fronts we can think. As a family, as individuals. We've gone through a lot in the first month of the year and I am hoping and praying that it will not come to nothing. That those trials have made us stronger, firmer in our belief. More loving, patient, wiser, better equi…

Yesterday I posted pictures of our wedding. We've been married for 11 years na at tumatanda na kami. I can't help but remember how happy we were on our wedding day. And I am glad that up to this day, we still find ourselves in love with each other. The years we've been through has made our love more stronger than the first.
"Through the years" is a title of a song by Kenny Rogers. It's a very lovely song between couple who had seen many years in life together and has made it victorious. The yea…

Yesterday I had my ultrasound done at Leyble's hospital. We've been waiting with excitement as to know the gender of the baby I'm carrying. Before I got pregnant, my husband and my oldest son had prayed many nights for another baby boy. After a month or so, I did get pregnant, and so they are hopeful that it would be a boy; an answer to their prayer request.
After waiting for more than 2 hours to get my ultrasound, finally it was done. And yes, it's a boy! We were so happy of the good news that…

When the sun rises...it brings new hope,
When the sun rises...it brings ray of sunshine,
that warms the heart that's been cold.
When the sun rises...it brings new day,
When the sun rises...it gives new beginnings,
to give us chance to do things better.
When the sun rises...it brings new joy,
When the sun rises...it brings new laughter,
for everyone of us to enjoy and endure the day.
When the sun rises...it brings new adventure,
When the sun rises...it brings new discovery,
for us to explore a…

We celebrated our new year in the beaches of Nasugbu, Batangas. The sand was white and the water was clear and calm - good for swimming. We camped out at the beach and saw fireworks ushering in the New Year. They we're beautiful and all around me are lovely.
But my attention was not in the fireworks or the loveliness of the resort, but on the oncoming tide that seems to rush to the beach side one after another without any sign of breaking. It was not big waves, but they came one by one, and at…

Last Sunday we've heard a sermon about holding on to the faith. About finishing the race, fighting a good fight of faith and enduring till all is done; and rapture has come.
The year that will be passing on is a year full of blessings, but it's also a year full of trials and hardships. I know this to be true for anyone in the faith. Everyday of our life we face many challenges that shapes our faith in the Lord, our trust in Him.
Everyday brings a question whether can we make it through? or do…
