Believers Community

A place for fun and fellowship for all Message Believers.

I am crying as I'm writing this post. I have just seen the video title "the bridge" and it overwhelms my heart to know that a Father has sacrificed his son's life to save the lives of all that was boarded on the train. They did not know, they were not aware that the father's son was crushed under the bridge. The father had to make a choice - pull the lever or let everyone die on the train and what a choice he has made! Oh! what a choice he has made.

We go on about our life and we sometimes run in circles with no purpose, no reasons. We forget that a Son has died for us all. Yes! in this modern times of computers and instant gratification, we forget to remember what happened on the cross 2,000 years ago. A son was crushed at the hands of his very Father, because a choice was needed to be made. Sacrifice his son, or let everyone on this earth die.

I can't express how amazing is God's love for us all and yet through it all we still forget. We go on as if what happened is not as real today as it was back then. The world is still going to end, everything will come to an end but those who chose to believe on God's sacrifice will be saved and I am one of them. I always hear preachers say, the Lord will not judge you for your sins, but He will judge you for not valuing the sacrifice that His Son has made. He gave His only begotten Son, His beloved Son so that we will not be destroyed.

The Father has made his choice and we too have to make ours. A son has died, Jesus was sacrificed. It's as real today as it was 2,000 years ago on the mount of Calvary. Let us choose to remember and believe, let's make this gift of love, this gift of grace and forgiveness be forever etched in our hearts. Let it move us, lead us, change us. Let us remember that we we're saved because Jesus died and was crushed on Calvary. Amazing Love.

Please watch the video.
