Sometimes when God tells you something, you have to listen to what He didn’t say to really get a hold of what He said. For instance, when God says to someone who’s down and out, “I want to use you for my glory,” God is telling him, “I’ve lifted you up,” because God can’t use him for His glory while he’s still down and out, broke and in debt. He’d have to come out first, and the only way the man can know God has lifted him is to prove the Word that was spoken to him.
If he used to be a complainer who always cried to everyone for help, now he ought to start helping and strengthening others. He ought to prove the Word by becoming a solution provider. I’ve seen some people who received prophecies from God and said they were waiting for the prophecies to come to pass. After waiting for so long and it didn’t look as though anything had happened, they began to doubt.
Such people didn’t recognize that it wasn’t God’s responsibility but theirs to prove the Word in their lives. The Bible says “…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12).
Prove God’s Word; prove His prophecies concerning you today by acting on them. The good things is, God isn’t afraid to be put on the spot because His Word has integrity; it never fails.
Confession
I’m what God says I am. The Word of God is working in me mightily and moving me forward. I’m proving the Word of God by putting it to work in every area of my life today, and it’s producing in me all it talks about. Hallelujah.
