What Tomorrow Holds?
What does your future hold? What does your tomorrow look? These are just some questions that anyone of us encounters in our lives. And yes there are many uncertainties in life and so many questions that we would like to find the answers but alas! Tomorrow is not for us to grasp.
The bible tells us that the Lord provides for the little birds and dresses the lilies of the valley that even King Solomon in all his majestic splendor couldn't match its glory. And yet we still ask the question what does our tomorrow hold? We are of little faith tossed easily by strong winds of needs and wants, of sickness and of pain. Wouldn't it be good to know what lies ahead for us?
I guess the answer is no! Because if we do and we see the road ahead will be steep and full of thorns we will be discouraged. But living for today is what the word of God teaches us; to trust in His grace and His provisions and His wonderful love.
I have no grand plans, no grand dreams to pursue in this life but there is one thing that I am faithfully looking forward to and that is God's promise that one day we will see Him face to face. I have this feeling that the Lord is coming anytime and He is what my tomorrow holds. He is my exceedingly great reward and I can't dream of anything more.
In this life we learn to know about God, learn to know about His great love and in this life we slowly learn to love Him. Not because of any reasons - but just because we do. I know God is good, God is magnificent and all things to me - but I love Him because I do. I found myself one day loving Him with all my heart and it doesn't really matter anymore the reason why I do. I just do.
If you ask me what does tomorrow hold? My answer would be Jesus - and isn't it great that He is?

while reading your blog
while reading your blog...it reminded me to give thanks to what I have been given..a wonderful family, our health,our friends,"kapatirans "and etc. Also I realized that I needed to slow down and stop thinking about my future so much and just enjoy this moment in my life with God`s grace.
